The Australian Underground Show Opening

This freelance project was for The Australian Underground, a podcast show about the local underground music scene. The brief was to create a relatable story for the podcast’s target audience relating to COVID lockdowns. The frame-by-frame sketch-style animation follows the story of a young man being stuck at home and wanting to get out to live music after lockdowns. The animation involves various transitions that give a flowing pace to the short storytelling. Through this process I developed my skills in storytelling, storyboarding, animation, and timing while working with client feedback and iteration.
